Mary Rockwood Lane, R.N., Ph.D. is a painter, nurse, author and mother. Mary is on the faculty of the University of Florida College of Nursing. Co-founder of Shands 'Arts in Medicine', she established their artist-in-residence program. Across the world, she lectures, teaches workshops, and is the author of many articles on art and healing and on spirit healing. Dr. Lane is co-author of Creative Healing, Spirit Body Healing, and The Path of the Feather. She is currently doing research and working on a book on how medical practitioners can use intuitive and mystical tools to enhance their healing practice.
