Monika Ardelt is interested in successful human development and aging from a life course perspective. Her research focuses on wisdom and life satisfaction in old age, the development of wisdom throughout life, and the relations between wisdom, spirituality, and aging and dying well. In addition to her involvement with the Center, she participates in the work of the University of Florida's Women's Health Research Center and the Center for Gerontological Studies.
